Work has just begun on the artwork and will be ready for release very soon. Until then keep checking the website for some upcoming live shows.

Apr 2008 - Alternative Set at The Room of Doom

Saturday the 26th of April saw Sheriff FatMan add another string to their bow with a lighter alternative set where we un-punked some of our songs and allowed Dom to come to the front and sing at the very weird and wonderful Room of Doom. To see the pictures goto the photo section now.

Mar 2008 - Back in the studio

Recording has started on our brand new 6 track mini album at the very brilliant Mesters Studio in Nottingham. It is as of yet untitled so send your suggestions this way, all entries will be considered. We are exactly half way through the whole process with 3 tracks already recorded and mixed for the final cut. The full line up of songs will be: Ska Song, Chump Change, Green Poo, Breakout, I Don't Wanna Save the World and one more (which is only half written), but not necessarily in that order. No release date has been set yet but when it is this will be the place to find out. So come back soon for some fresh new Sheriff FatMan.

Jan 2008 - Happy New Year

Happy New Fookin' Year folks. Sheriff FatMan had a fantastic night at Junktion 7's NYE Party seeing the new year in punk style. We opened the night and played our set dressed up in party costumes, which also saw rockers Zenith and human beatbox The Petebox take to the stage in the venue's bumper new year line up. You can see piccies from the night in the photo section. So go take a look.

Dec 2007 - Junktion 7's New Year's Eve Party BACK ON!!!!!

After not so much of a case of crossed wires more like a tangled web of confusion, but the Junktion 7 FREE NYE Party is back on!!!. We couldn't be happier at being able to punk the new year in at Nottingham's Premier Venue, so once again, we very much hope to see you there, dressed up to the eyeballs in whatever you fancy wearing (or not wearing of course). Goto www.junktion7.co.uk for more info of the evening's line up.

Dec 2007 - New Year's Eve Party CANCELLED!!!

For some reason unknown to us, Junktion 7 have decided to cancel all the live bands for their New Year's Eve Party. We obviously would have loved to punk the new year in, but its not to be. We are still very busy organising some more live dates, but nothing confirmed yet, check back soon for more details, but until then Merry Punkin' Xmas.

Nov 2007 - We are still alive

Its been very quiet for Sheriff FatMan in the last 6 weeks or so, but due to other commitments we have not been able to book any live shows. But we just wanted to let you know, that we are still alive and have just been confirmed on this years Junktion 7 New Years Eve Party, and best of all its FREE to get in. So there is no excuse not to come down now that you have more beer money to spend, plus we will be selling T-shirts, CD's and wristbands at the show, which would make excellent late xmas pressies.

Its been a big end to the month of August for the Sheriff FatMan boys where the 3 competitions that we were involved with have all ended. First of all, Channel 4's Mobile Act was concluded and we ended up 202 out 1667, which is a fantastic testament to you. Secondly Junktion7's BOTB came to end for us as we were knocked out in the semi-finals by Geezer Safari and Sideshow and once again you lot showed out in force, Finally we finished 3rd out of 4 in Gigged's Demo of the Month, which we had previously won with our first EP. There are more gigs to be confirmed soon, so until then. Keep on punkin'.

July 2007 - Sheriff FatMan winners of Heat 3

Sheriff FatMan are through to the semi-finals of Junktion 7's Battle of the Bands, and we are extremely happy that so many of our loyal fans showed up to support us on the night and helped us to progress. There was only one downside to our victory and that was that our good friends Hellequin went out of the competition even after a rocking set, along with The Flying Aces and Era. We hope to see you all again in the semis. There are some pics of the night up in the photo section now.

Jun 2007 - First London show eventful

Sheriff FatMan played their first London show and the day was eventful to say the least. First of all before we even left, we were anxiously waiting for the new bass amp, which finally arrived an hour an half before we were due to leave Nottingham. The journey down there was fine until we had to load the gear into the club. We were parked on double yellows when a car came around the corner and smacked right into us, and then amist the chaos a traffic warden came over hassling us to move. The rest of the evening went ok but after a long, late, tiring drive home we were happy to be back in good old notts. Its was all worth it though and we are all looking forward to the next show.

Jun 2007 - Sheriff FatMan in the Capital

Thats right. Sheriff FatMan are appearing live and for the first time in London. The gig takes place at The 333 Club in central London on Wednesday 27th June courtesy of Bugbear Promotions. We are taking to the stage with "The Skints" who are a ska/punk band who have already had Radio 1 airplay, along with "Lightbox" and "Venus De Milo". Check out the shows section for more information.

Jun 2007 - First Official Gig of the Summer

We will remember the gig at The Rose of England on the 1st of June forever. Sheriff FatMan headlined the night and blasted the crowd away. Everyone who came was up and dancing and were as much a part of the show as all the bands who played. You can watch a phone video of "Ska Song" if you follow this link, but the sound is quite poor throughout. Also here you can find a short video of Sheriff FatMan unplugged playing "Knowledge" in the sunshine at the lake district.

May 2007 - Birthday time

Two members of Sheriff FatMan had their birthday's this weekend. Firstly on Sunday it was Rob's, then quickly followed on Monday by Dom's, and the band celebrated with some special friends by renting a cottage in the lake district for the weekend. We will have some photos and video up here very soon. Finally happy birthday to Rob and Dom.

July 2006 - Ouch!!, The Injuries

We had an interesting month at the Sheriff's Lodge, because we have all been struck with an injury of some sort, which is typical seeing as we have our biggest number of gigs in one month ever coming up for August. First of all Mark has broken his metatarsal (ala Rooney) playing football and is now in a cast for the next 4-6 weeks. Secondly Dom (me) has damaged the intercostal muscles inbetween the ribs whilst attempting a backflip on a trampoline and have been told to expect pain for the next 8 weeks and finally Rob has some severe sunburn on his shoulders, which has caused some massive blisters. The injured party we may be, but it hasn't stopped us punking our arses off, we just have to be a little less animated for a while. Till next time. Hey Ho.

June 2006 - Drop in the Ocean Line up confirmed

This is a massive event set to take over the Nottingham Live Music scene for a day, in aid of an extremely worthy charity. Drop in the Ocean was so successful last year helping victims of the tsuami, that it has come back bigger and stronger this year and we have decided to get involved. £8 will get you a wristband and access to all the venues taking part, of which there are loads, catering for a wide range of musical genres. Please come down and help out just by watching a few bands and drinking beer because bar takings are also thrown into the final tally. Check out dropintheocean.org for the entire line up or click on shows for The Rose of England billing.

May 2006 - Ricky K Says Goodbye

Shock announcement this week. Ricky K has decided to part company with Sheriff FatMan. The decision was made because he felt that he could not commit himself to the band. Ricky K has left on very good terms, and we would like to wish him success for the future and we hope to see him around very soon. It was a lot of fun while it lasted and his input over the past 7 months has changed us for the better. Thanx Ricky and goodbye.

We've had some sad news come in this week at the Sheriff's Lodge, and that is the Shock & Awe BOTB 2006 has been cancelled "due to venue issues and general lack of interest". Sheriff FatMan were due to play in the Semi Finals of the competition at the Seven Stars, but the promoter was struggling to fill the venue every week and has decided to cut his losses and pull the event completely, but "if venue issues can be resolved in the near future we may pick up from where we left off". Aug 2005 - Surprise Birthday gig/party for Mark

With help from Dom. Mark's girlfriend Debbie organised a surprise birthday gig at Bar None in Nottingham for Mark and the band to play at. The only problem was, Mark didn't have a thumb pick to play bass with, this meant he fucked up loads more than he usually does. His temper finally got the better of him, and as he was swinging the bass guitar in the air he took out two mic stands and two cymbal stands and the stage was thrown into chaos, and then he stormed off. But it was a TOP punk finish and everyone loved it. Good lad.
